I bet you already think I'm crazy, but I promise you I'm normal.

When I get shots/get my blood drawn, I laugh like CRAZY! Why is that? And then my arm gets stiff and sore, and I have trouble doing anything later, because I can't use it... like, I'll laugh ALL night... for no reason? Is it just a pain mechanism I have? to laugh? Because I assure you I don't laugh when I get punched in the face, or when I stub my toe on the bed.

... help? LOL.. I think I scared the doctor today from laughing so much...
You guys made it SO hard for me to pick a best answer. THANKS A LOT! LMAO

It's how you deal with it. there are worse ways... crying, screaming. Laughing seems better to me.

Laughing makes you feel better. That's you're way of dealing with it rather than crying or screaming. It's good to laugh and you made me lol when you said "Because I assure you I don't laugh when I get punched in the face

I laugh when I'm nervous - maybe that's what you're doing also. I laugh like crazy at the dentist office. They love me there. Ha...either way you sound like a fun patient!! :)

I think i can understand why.. You see the doctor as a giant mosquito and cant help yourself thinking, this is so sadic, he wants my blood, my bloooodd.... Pic pic, veins, blood, white dressed doctor, lets take her blood more blood ect lol..
Its also an unusual feeling to get stinged purposely, some people faint because apparently, your body's nervous system reacts to something that is not common so the blood pressure drops in the case of people who are prone to faint. This may be your way of "reacting"
