Why do I laugh when I read about diseases?

I first noticed this about a year ago when I was reading about salmonella, and just now it has driven me to the brink of ripping out my throat because I started cracking up when I was reading about Anemia (which I might have). There's eventually going to be a day where one of my friends has Lou Gehrig's Disease and I burst out laughing.

HELP ME!!!
 
just try to think about all the poor people with the disease and how so many people are dying because of them
