Why do I sometimes crave cigarettes in my dreams?

I've never smoked. And nobody in my family smokes. I like the smell of cigarettes, just not the smell it leaves. But why, in some of my dreams, am I smoking a cigarette or having major cravings to want to smoke? Is this something in my subconcious? What do you think?
 
It would depend on what you associate smoking with. Advertisers feed plenty of associations to cigarettes (Classical Conditioning) and no doubt these are lodged in the unconscious.

Try a word association test: Say the first word that comes to mind when you see the word "smoker." Try other smoker-related words. Play around until you find a connection that feels right. Or a connection that feels 100% wrong (this might actually be the truth!).
 
it is obvious,
you are craving for it...so your subconcious makes you satisfied and visulaizes for you that you are smoking - you like its smell - so you crave for it, you want to try it but afraid you would feel different
