complain because its biased? Ever see Conservatives do that?
 
because it's called "fox NEWS" if they change their name it wouldn't be an issue. but they do have news between the commentary.

yes, ask conservatives what they think of MSNBC.
 
Liberals KNOW it is NOT news that is the difference

Could list all the things they have said in past year but why bother look at questions and answers whatever they say find the way on here...

It is not fox we are concerned about rather the people who believe what they say without checking anywhere else...computer has information overload........
 
FOX News exists becasue Conservatives think that all other media is liberal biased. By definition that makes it conservative biased. But all one needs to do is watch the news and ignore the pundits to see there is obvious bias.
 
Because I know from personal experience that people actually believe that these shows are the news.

And from judging the questions on this board on a certain time of day, you can tell what the topic of discussion was for those shows.
 
Liberals tend to have difficulty distinguishing fact from persuasive rhetoric; A belief or argument that xx will do/produce "zz" can be either a true FACT * or simply an opinion,best guess, a belief based on nothing more than the idea that others embrace the belief too.
Conservatives tend to be more analytical. They tend to be persuaded by fact based arguments that cite credible/historical sources that have been independently verified. In short they understand that a theory, idea, proposal is and IDEA. The validity of the idea must be researched before embracing as a "great solution/ fix/way to control....."
Another difficulty and difference is how the two define a fact based on what exists or what theory they have embraced.
--> Fox News clearly has its headline news segments and its opinion/discussion shows segments. Their format is based on the concept that individuals need to hear /be presented with various proposals/theories/ explanations from various sources. The individual view can then seek more info or verify what guests/pundits have said. Many liberals chose to embrace what they perceive is the most popular mantra of their associates /friends. The end result is often no actual individual analysis as it requires less effort and disagreement may produce anger, irritation or insults from their friends. It's far easier to chime in /scoff at whatever-esp if you really have no other info gleaned from your own investigation of other sources.
 
Because the talk shows don't report Obama's name as Osama nor do they fabricate stories of large crowds at palin's rallies.
 
Because Liberals are against Fox because they don't kiss up to the President and the liberal agenda...

Because they have a greater listener base than the lefts liberal news channels. Those too, do not do news. (MSNBC, Maddow, ABC, CNN, Chris Matthews) all of them are left leaning and controlled by the Democrats. They all have been biased in the past and once caught they whine that fox exposed them.. LOL.

because liberals would rather silence dissenting opinions rather than debate them,they are all about freedom of speech as long as it supports their agenda.It is really amazing how they constantly attack the one network that does not tow the liberal media line,how dare fox news think independently and disagree with us,the liberal left who are never wrong in our own minds.
 
WRONG! we are telling the majority of people watching that crap, that ITS NOT NEWS! Its people on the right that use Hannity & O'Reilly's opinions as facts, rather than learning the actual issues.
 
I think people know the difference between news and commentary despite right-wing drivel accusing them otherwise.
The reason why people lump them in as one, is because the commentary is designed to tell you what to think about the news, and plant opinions in your head.
 
They have to have something to complain about. Statistics show that the Right is at least 15 % happier than the Left.
