Why do Liberals watch cassettes yet Conservatives watch Blue-Ray discs?

Liberals still usually watch movies from video cassettes, whereas Conservatives generally watch Blue-Ray discs. Why the difference?

I would really like to see the research that suggests such a thing. This liberal watches everything on DVD (no Blue-Ray yet . . . all the rest of the components to make it worthwhile just make it too expensive at this time . . . no one gives this liberal anything that I don't work for).
