Why do men complain that women are shallow when they are shallow themselves?

Some men who sacrifice personality for looks like to complain about women.

Whenever they are rejected by a beautiful woman, they say that they are shallow for not dating them when they are shallow for pursuing the beautiful woman in the first place.

They want the cream of the crop when they are average looking themselves.

Men complain that women want money, a$$holes etc. when they chose to sacrifice personality for looks. That's THEIR problem. I know that you can get both, but most of the time the pretty girls are vain and obsess with their looks.
If you're a guy or a girl how much do you go for looks?

tbh, I think men are more shallow then women when it comes to looks. I've seen A LOT more pretty girls with average guys then I have the other way around. You usually see an overweight guy with a pretty girl sometimes, but you hardly see an overweight girl with a good-looking guy.


I'm not saying all guys/girls are like this, but in my OPINION, I feel this way.
