rich person I know is liberal? Seriously, in my state the counties get richer and richer as they get more liberal. Plus of course Hollywood, etc. But yeah (in general) every joe blow with money I know is a progressive (or a dem)

Serious question, why is this narrative like this when it certainly isn't that true in most cases?

Conservatives don't have the most money, they're usually broke like you said. The point is that rich conservatives do exist, because these are the people telling the much larger amount of poor conservatives how to vote.
