I have 2 cats. One is the younger male, named Garfield. The other is the older female, named Oreo. I've had Oreo for many many years. I don't know why but Oreo only stays in my room on my bed. She never moves. She acts as though she was my guardian angel or body guard because if ANYONE comes in my room then she literally stares them down and starts making this weird worried/intimidating growl and if they move closer to me then she goes in front of me. She only relaxes when they leave. Now Garfield is starting to stay in my room all the time. Is there something about my room that makes them feel safe or what's going on? They literally never want to leave. I have their food and litter box in my room so it's ok if they don't leave.
