are you allowing your tank to cycle properly?? Do you have proper filtration? make sure you are not over feeding, OR allowing your fish to go into shock when putting them into the tank. Check the waters ph balance and temperature and make sure it is within the preference of the fish. There are so many variables that can cause a fish to die. Like cleaning a tank too often and not allowing good bacteria to grow, or just throwing them in the tank with out allowing them to sit for about 20 min. my advise to you is to find out what kind of fish you have or want and research them and learn alll about them before you buy any more. BTW the fish u mentioned make an high amount of ammonia, so making sure they have that filtration going on will help as will regular water changes. Goldfish will grow up to be very big. and a 2 gal. tank just isnt big enough for when they are full grown.

I had a 1 gallon tank at first now i have a 2 gallon it didn't make a difference. My fish are dieing they will sink and swim really low rarely moving, if i try to catch them they move otherwise they stay still. Sometimes they will only use half there body for a while the look really funny when this happens. Then they die, i have had some just die too. I know there just fish but i don't want to keep buying more and more i want to get some expense one but im afraid they will die. I have only tired a few different types of fish so far i have tried a lot of feeder fish(little gold fish) and a few minnows and a sucker fish thing which is still alive(who knows why but it is). Minnows last a little longer than the feeders. Is there a reason or cure for this?

5 gallons is really the smallest tank you should try to keep fish in, even then all you can have is one betta.
For mutiple fish a ten gallon is the minimum. The smaller the the tank, the harder it is to keep the environmental factors, like PH and temperature, stable

r u feeding them too much, is the water ok it could be something with the water

There is a cycle called the water cycle. It takes 6-8 weeks for fish to get adapted to a tank and for the filter to work. In those 6-8 weeks, keep the tank clean and keep the fish limited. Also maybe adjust the fish feeding. Hope i helped!
