B biggflintmi New member Jul 25, 2008 #2 Lots of cars do it. It idles high for a minute until the engine warms up. All of my older cars did it but i havent noticed it with the new cars.

D dodgeman Member Jul 25, 2008 #3 a bad throttle position sensor will cause that too happen ,have a scan done on it to see if it has any trouble codes in the computer this will help you a lot on that one,good luck.
