Why do my torrents always fail hash checks?

Every time I download a torrent that is 5+gb, it ends up being corrupt. I use the most recent utorrent, my computer is virus free, and all necessary ports are open to my router. I will usually try re downloading the file entirely or selecting the completed file again and re downloading any uncompleted parts, but no luck. Also, I know there isn't a problem with the file because other users downloading the same files don't have a single problem. utorrent will usually have 20 or so lines in the logger saying it failed the hash check, with each piece being different, for example

[2010-04-12 08:50:12] *** "whatever the name of the file is": PIECE 1400 FAILED HASH CHECK

Because of this, I can never extract the file properly using winrar due to multiple corrupt files (And there isn't a problem with winrar because its always up to dateand i use it for other files).

Ive read many many blogs and forums and nothing has helped, I don't know what to do anymore.
I don't think it's a firewall problem cause I've got it completely turned off. Also I know I don't have a limit since I'm with rogers and I'm not exceeding the monthly 65gb. I'm able to download the full file, it just ends up corrupt...
