Why do New Yorkers move to other cities to complain about them?

Seriously I live in Tampa FL and we have a lot of new yorkers on my street and all they do is complain about how bad Tampa is. they say thing like "Man subway sucks, thats not real subs", "the rays suck, I hate the rays, the Yankees are better, stop liking the rays go yankees" They whine about how bad Papa Johns and Pizza hut are and say that's not real Pizza. They talk about how Tampa isn't urban, its a giant suburb. So why do New Yorkers move to other cities, just to complain about them? My family in Atlanta has the same problem.
