for Christ?
What's so bad about just saying you are not a Christian, because you do not follow the commandments given by Jesus.
I think it is easier to just admit you don't believe in Christ, since you do not live for him.
David: It is my understanding that faith without works is dead, and deeds by them-self are useless. If you truly loved Christ, would you not want to change the way you live? Though it is common for man to sin, it is not rightful for a man to make no attempt in changing his ways, once he has accepted Christ. If I tell you that I believe in Christ, how much is that worth, does not Satan believe in Christ too?
Faith should make you desire to do God's work, and live the way he wants you to live. If you accept Christ, but continue the path you are going, what sacrifice is there to save you?
Take the lives of the disciples for example, none of these men continued to live the lives they once did, after Christ came. They were people just like us, and lived their lives for Christ. Through faith, they spoke and acted in the name of the Lord.
