for Christ?
What's so bad about just saying you are not a Christian, because you do not follow the commandments given by Jesus.
I think it is easier to just admit you don't believe in Christ, since you do not live for him.
David: It is my understanding that faith without works is dead, and deeds by them-self are useless. If you truly loved Christ, would you not want to change the way you live? Though it is common for man to sin, it is not rightful for a man to make no attempt in changing his ways, once he has accepted Christ. If I tell you that I believe in Christ, how much is that worth, does not Satan believe in Christ too?
Faith should make you desire to do God's work, and live the way he wants you to live. If you accept Christ, but continue the path you are going, what sacrifice is there to save you?
Take the lives of the disciples for example, none of these men continued to live the lives they once did, after Christ came. They were people just like us, and lived their lives for Christ. Through faith, they spoke and acted in the name of the Lord.

There is a difference I think you miss. That a call myself Christian does not mean I do not sin. What it means is that my sins are no more grievous than anyone elses, I am first among sinners, and Jesus, who died so that my sins would be forgiven, wants me to acknowledge that.

"Living for Christ" and "following the commandments of Christ" does NOT make someone a Christian. Works never save, and are not a part of salvation.

It is only BELIEVING in Jesus for the free gift of salvation, that saves and makes a person a Christian :)

Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much! :D

The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in Jesus for salvation, believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for all our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus alone for salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter what!

Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).

Please pray now: "Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross to pay for my sins and that You rose from the dead, and I thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die! :D
