Why do people get angy when I wear a speedo?

I like wearing a speedo when I swim, it's more comfortable and I can get a better tan. The problem is people really take offense to my speedo. One guy called me a fag in the pool locker room the other day. I just don't like trunks. What's the big deal? How can I deal with the haters?
 
Because people don't like seeing guys in clothing so tight that your religion shows.
