Why do Republicans accuse gays of being "promiscuous" but won't allow gays to marry?

You accuse gay males of being promiscuous, but yet you won't allow them to enter into a stable committed marriage or even a civil union. How is that not hypocritical?

(And by the way I know many of you are going to make the argument that marriage is a Christian institution. It is not. It existed long before Christianity ever came along)

Well, they certainly support bi-sexual marriage when you look at all the GOP sex scandals that included married politicians having sneaky gay sex! Go figure...
