Why do rich people complain about paying taxes?

Imagine this: you walk into McDonald's, the man in front of you orders a quarter pounder, the cashier looks him over and decides he looks lower-middle class and charges him $2. Then it's your turn, so you order a quarter pounder, the cashier looks you over and decides you look rich, so he charges you $5. You and the man in front of you both got the exact same product, and yet you had to pay more than twice as much for it. Is that fair? Of course not, it does not matter if you are rich and the other guy is poor, you both get the exact same thing. Saying "you can afford it", is stupid and irrelevant, and completely ignores the fact that you were just discriminated against.

Forcing one person to pay more for the same product or service as another person just because "you can afford it" is patently unfair and a violation of basic human rights.

Most of the tax money they pay goes into the system and into police forces and military forces that enforce the laws that they make. And in turn, allows them to make more money. Or are they just faking outrage.
@ OK State alum: that is my alma mater, but you must have taken political science with Professor Burke the most conservative of them all, because you do not know what you are talking about. My point is the fact that the system is designed to help the rich. If I were rich, I would be glad to put money into a sure investment. The point is they want to poor people to pay for jails and sh*t, then later, they put them in there, and are paid for each prisoner there. It really a scam and you are a fool.

The top hedge fund manager made around $4 BILLION last year. Paid 15% on much of that income.

It’s shocking that Republicans can’t stop talking about giving that guy more tax cuts.

you know, the rich people aren't even the ones doing most of the complaining. they find the loopholes and avoid paying much of what is actually owed.

it's those who envy the rich who complain.
they seem to look at it as "he pays that much and that's almost all of what I make" so they think that somehow the rich are being taxed into pverty. they don't realize that the amount of taxes the wealthy pay is pocket change compared to what's left over.

wrong most of the money goes to entitlements look it up
the reason is because the 50% of people in this country who dont pay taxes use the rich peoples taxes.....get it
