Why do so-called "Christians" say that gays are going to Hell?

Aren't Christians supposed to follow the ways of Jesus? I don't think Jesus would be very happy to hear that the whole "Love thy neighbor" thing isn't really getting into people's heads.

Christians aren't supposed to judge, especially whether or not they're going into the Lake of Fire or into Heaven. That's God's job, isn't it? Saying where a person goes isn't our job. In a way, doing so, is trying to play God.

To judge righteously, we should should judge OUR actions righteously. As in, we need to know what to do CORRECTLY.

Just so everyone knows, I'm a Christian. I'm just so angry at how insensitive people can be.

Yes, I agree. It seems odd that Christians always kind of forget the whole "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" thing, since this abrogation of the Law and acknowledgement that all are sinners and need salvation is actually the cornerstone of Christian belief.

Yet modern Christians quite happily pick that rock up. Gotta wonder whether they're all going to get a bit of a shock should ol' JC actually come back one day and start explaining a few things.
