xbox 360? I've had mine for months and nothing wrong ha ever happened to it. Also my friend has had his for 3 years and his xbox is still in a good condition

Some people got lucky with their 360's

Others like a few of my friends and my cousin haven't.

you and your friend have just been lucky, and leave it at that! xbox is notorious for having its problems anyways, and its not always a cheap fix. why do so many people complain? because it is a common problem that ruins the day of many a gamer, just hope it doesnt happen toyou

Because if you've got a newer model, They fixed it... If you have an older model, It's likely you will get the "Ring Of Death"
