...existed without Judaism? Without Judaism there would be no Jesus because that's the faith he grew up with.
Why are some Christians in complete denial about the true origins of their own faith?
Ruth....You need to understand that if Christianity emerged from the Jewish faith then it clearly is another branch of it, as opposed to all the eastern religions which had nothing to do with Judaism.

Judaism was the mother religion to Cristianity.
 
Because for some reason they think that that takes away from the credibility of their faith. They don't realize that you can't take away credibility from a crock of sht.
 
I don't know any Christians who think that...so I couldn't tell you.
 
Who denies this? I've not seen a Christian deny this. I think you are preoccupied with this subject, however, as I do not agree Christianity is just another branch of Judaism as I've seen you aver.
 
Christianity is the new covenant of Judaism of Jeremiah 31:31-34.

Generally those people are racists. They deny because their racial beliefs are more important to them than historical accuracy.
 
I totally agree. Judaism and Christianity are extremely closely related. I think that some people are just ignorant about their origins. I am Christian and I know a lot of people that will use the word Jew to insult somebody. It is appalling.
