dangerous, violent, barbaric, etc.. type of sport? Is the sport really that dangerous? I see hockey, football, rugby, motocross as dangerous sports but not mma.
 
the public are ignorant of the facts.

hell, look at how many people get injured falling down stairs! MMA is safer when you consider those odds. it is consensual skill testing, and is safer than boxing as the opponents have more than just the head as a target.

some people are just happier to be ignorant and prefer to ruin other peoples fun, even when they dont know anything about it.
 
MMA can be as dangerous or more so as all those other sports. It's like boxing, but more violent
 
Well because it is a sport that 2 people beat each other up until one can't defend himself anymore. Im not complaining I love to watch mma.
 
mma is very barbaric it has to be, its past it covered in blood shed and war most of these fighting styles are products of these wars. modern MMA is safer then boxing every country has its form of mma from Germany to Japan so you can say its a thing of are past we wont let die
