Why do some ppl have a gift to see the future or just know or sense the future

but not really like a dream? I dont know how this got into single and dating wrong topic I know
they have.

for example me and my gf got into a phyisical debate and my grandmother was telling my cousin she had to pick me up. She didn't say why but he ask her didn't they fight, why was I over there. This where it get strange at, he saw our fight before it happen.
