Why do some single mothers complain when men say they don't want to date women...

...with children? I know that being a single parent brings extra challenges when you're trying to find a partner, but isn't it better if a guy is honest at the outset about the fact that he doesn't want to deal with kids rather than dating a guy who pretends to like kids at first and then turns out to treat them like crap later on?
 
Yes, at the root of it all, it is better that they find out that certain men don't want to raise children that aren't their "own".

However, i don't doubt that it is initially frustrating trying to date and lead an adult life in that way only to be unsuccessful just for the sole fact that they have children. And i'm sure that that is where a portion of that "anger/irritation" comes from...their frustration over not being able to lead that part of life to the extent that they want to and feel that they should be able to.
