Why do some straight men whine about gay men trying to convert them when...?

...some straight men (and women) did/do the same thing to gay people (like with corrective rape, electroshock therapy, drugging, religious stuff)?
A gay guy hitting on them doesn't seem too bad next to THAT, does it?
 
They are the most afraid, knowing that we are just about as rare as monster in the world, only 2%. Its funny when they say those things when their government style started off with gays. The greeks were most fond of turning boys into men this way at the coming of age. Hell, they don't even know the aquarius they love so much is based off of the love story between Ganymede and Zeus. It is almost impossible to say homosexuality isn't in our blood. Back in those days, homosexuality was to let off the real steam and hetero to bear children.
 
its all about perspective. we often dont want to put in the effort to convert (as if that was possible) and would rather someone was just gay to begin with. sadly this is not the case most of the time. my str8 friends love it when i flirt with them "its flattering" their words not mine
 
I have never seen this happen before so I cannot say because I have never seen anyone trying to convert anyone.
 
Would you like to be hit on by somebody you weren't interested in?? And knowing how superficial, B***** and judgmental gay guys can be (often making women look like saints!) i don't think you would at all!
