Why do soooooo many celebs claim their waists measure 24 in and their hips...

...36? Give me a break!? From time to time I like to see celebs Measurements and more times than not 24 for waist and 36 for hips pop up! Even Ford, Elite, Wilhemina, etc models who are sooooo slim have bigger measurements on their portfolios.

those were my measurments for a long time until i gained a little weight. those celebs look better than me so it wouldnt suprise me if alot of those are true

I am 5'2 and a size 2, and my waist is something like 27 inches and im pretty petite with a small frame - 24 is impossibly small - if you take out a tape measure and make it in an oval that is 24 inches in circumference you will see that is humanly impossible to have a 24 inch waist even at the smallest part of your waist!! there would be no room for organs in there!! kate moss claims to have a 23 inch waist but seriously theres no way!! ofcourse they lie. The pathetically gaunt victoria beckham claimed to have reached a 23 inch waist at her skiniest but look at her - who wants to be a skeletton with boob implants?

In all fairness, if some nosy reporter ever asked me for my measurements, I'd either walk out on them or lie as well. Given that walking out would probably cause some controversy or another, just lying is probably easiest. It's really no one's business is it?

They often have measurements smaller than 24-36 (for the waist and hips). 24-36 isn't even that small, it's thin but still curvy because the hips are 12 inches bigger than the waist. I think a lot of celebrities are smaller than that to be honest, a lot are straight up and down and they have no feminine shape at all. They just put down those measurements on websites because those numbers sound nice. How is anyone going to know what a celebrity's measurements are aside from their tailor...
