Why do the nonIslamic religions hold so little appeal for terrorists ?

Assuming that terrorists are 'hijacking' Islam and that Islam isn't actually the cause of terrorism, why do terrorists flock to Islam as their excuse and ignore the world's many other religions ?

Also, what can we nonIslamic religions do to get our fair share of terrorists ? Perhaps some sort of incentive program is in order ? Maybe if we promised them something ? Some kind of reward for after they've died for our religion ? Maybe we could offer them companionship or something ?
Matthew, no, I believe he was a Christian. Were these attacks carried about by Christians ? There's 15000 of them since 9/11. So, you've got Timothy McVeigh, you've got maybe a dozen abortion clinic bombings, throw in the entire body count of the Klan, and I counter with 15000 Islamic terrorist attacks (not body count. Attacks.)

The terrorism of the other religions (Catholicism, for example) usually involved a group effort. The difference in the Islamic approach seems to be individuals working on their own more.

you dont seem to be a good reader of history ^^ Medias can make something appear more then it really exists, I will give you a simple example: if, as you claim, Islam is a religion of terrorisme, I bet the world can sleep in peace with a billion and half muslim on earth! you know, muslims were kicked out with Jews from Spain, by who? chrestians! the US is killing innoncent people everywere, Isreal (jews) are killing muslims and chrestians, the only difference between them and muslim terrorists is that medias doesnt talk about them as such, if you are a terrorist, your label has nothing to do inside. so the answer is BECAUSE OF MEDIAS!!

Ever heard of Northern Ireland, Basque country, the Philippines, India, and Russia?
Or how about Israel, which gained Independence largely through terrorism (i.e. King David Hotel Bombing)?
Or how about Columbia, Venezuela, and Mexico?

Terrorism is in no way just an Islamic phenomenon.
