Okay, I'm no fan of Twilight but I do have some respect for Stephanie. She must have done something right if her book's gotten this famous. But, that's not the point of this question.
So, did Stephanie ever give a reason for why she made the vampires in Twilight sparkle? I always thought vampire's cindered in the sun because they're so unholy and all that, demons and such.
But sparkling just doesn't make sense. I'm curious now, was it just the first thing that came to Stephanie's mind, or does she actually have a reason for it? Thanks in advance.
