It anoys me how woman complain about equal rights these days. I am 26 years old and
have always assumed woman were just as equal as me in being human. I never went though
womens oppression or the equal rights movement.
They complain about employment oppurtinies, especially on the corprate lader. But when
I used to study business studies at 3 different colleges the classroom was 90% men. I did a tourism course once and it was 90% female. So it should be obvious then then the people that have finished there business deplomas and business management training are going to be mostly men if they dont do the courses or training. So, generally speaking, you will have men as managers and bosses.
If woman doing things like tourism or beauty thereapy which is cool, then that's what they will get as a career, isn't it? so where does all this unequal crap come from?
In fact don't they get more respect then anyone, especially if they are good looking.
example:
While men get more picked on by authories such as police and law enforcement. It's always a man that is doing the wrong thing.
If a woman commits pedophila she just made a mistake while a man in the same situation would be stripped of everything and branded a child molester for life.

It just seems to me that women cause the problem of equal rights at work and in society in general because they don't seem to participate as much.
And what is this stuff about wages? the woman I work with at work is getting excatly the same money as me, because we do the same work! Isn't this obvious?
If she was getting less then me in pay I would complain and protest myself

Work values. Women are not equal in terms of the value of their work, which is in most cases highly UNDER valued. You refer to "tourism" and "beauty therapy" as areas that women flock to for training and careers...why are they less valuable than the "business studies" you refer to? Tourism and the beauty field ARE businesses!! You don't seem to know that. Both fields generate billions across the globe annually in revenues. That's not important?

A woman works her tail off and is generally still paid less than a man for comparable work, and yes, running a hotel is DIFFICULT and if a woman runs it, she is supposed to earn as much as a man who runs another business in another field.

Running a successful hair salon? You try doing doing it. It's hard work and it takes a great talent as well as a savvy business acumen. You don't think so?

You are apparently making things all about the type of work that women prefer to do sometimes. That work generates taxes, revenue, and jobs.

Women are still discrimminated against, my friend, and if you don't think so, that's not important. You need a reality check, and maybe, you need to walk into a car mechanic's shop, as a woman, just once, to get your car fixed. Listen to what he says to you about your car. Then return the next day as the man you think you are. You'll be shocked at the way that mechanic speaks to you compared to a woman customer.

Women do NOT "cause" sex discrimmination. Discrimmination happens to a person; it is not what the person wants or deserves.

And your statement 'women cause the problem of equal rights at work....because they don't seem to participate as much' is simply hilarious. You have no idea who does all the grunt work in this world, do you? You know, all those menial tasks that you're too good for?
Women work hard at 20 million different tasks every day, and you don't notice it -- because your definition of "work" itself is so skewed.
