Why does Aaron Rogers get so much respect when he sucks so bad?

I hate this guy, hes absolutly terable! Ted Thompson purposely pushed Brett Favre out of Green bay and his replacment is Rogers? I am a huge packer fan but Brett did nothing wrong and is the greatest. I might buy a vikings jersey! Mr. Thompson, are you kidding me? Why do poeple keep saying Rogers is good when he isnt, are they trying to make Brett look bad? 4-12 this year becuas they dont have Brett "the greatestever" Favre!
This question was actually kind of an experiment... I am a team owner, a season ticket holder and a die hard PACKER fan, not a Brett Farve fan... I merely wanted to see what the public thinks of blind, ignorant, band wagon morons that would turn their back on the team because Favre is a nutcase. My bottom line is that the TEAM IS BIGGER THAN BRETT FAVRE. Favre made a decision 2 weeks before training camp laast year to not return, so the organization moved on. Do people really expect TT to let one guy dictate the future of the club? How does that look in the public eye if your GM is a lap dog bitch? Get real people, A-Rod is the real deal as that guy stated below... disappointing result to this experiment...
Oh yeah... RedRaiders, you officially take the cake as 'biggest moron to respond to this.' Way to make a biased one sided remark based on nothing but rumor and info you got from ESPN... Thompson was not the only one at fault here, get it straight.
 
Rodgers right now is better than Brett Favre of today. Favre in his prime better than Rodgers( and alot of QB's). But Ted is only doing whats best for the team. Keeping favre would have only held the team back longer, allowing rodgers to flourish as a quarterback is better for their future.

besides I don't know what your smoking, but Aaron Rodgers is the real deal.

Red Raiders, just stop. Are you really dumb enough to say keeping favre would have resulted in one more superbowl? Figures coming from a fan who probably thinks graham harrell is the best QB ever to play football.
 
I know this is hard to take since you're a packer fan, but your team sucked last year. And it wasn't Rodger's fault. If you look at how Favre finished his season last year because of his injury, you should be glad it was the jets that had to put up with that.
