Why does everyone assume that the song "Everything" by Lifehouse is a christian song?

Even on wikipedia it says it's about faith. It's not true though!
Jason Wade himself said it was written about him & his wife, & love in general.

No where in the lyrics does it mention god, so why are people 100% positive that it was writen for god?

I'm not an atheist by the way, i'm a christian. I'm just wondering.

yeah, jason wade is a christian but his music isn't christian.
 
I'm not sure. I'm not Christian, but I personally can think it as a religious song.
The song in no way implies that it is about god, it is one's thoughts that it is. It's what people make it out to be.
They just seem to misconstrue it.
 
Um it really does sound like a Christian song but it could be either way the guy that sings from lifehouse said he was a Christian
 
People have said the same thing about Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" being about Jesus, which gives strange meaning to the ear-nibbling lyric.

Love comes from god and god only.................

Doesn't matter if a person wrote a song about his wife or about a situation
its about love and sharing and caring and that still only comes from god.

Long black trian wasn't written as religious but it was turned into a big religious hit..

Bridge over troubled waters

thousands of songs represent god but never mentions god..

Bible books of ruth and songs of solomon never mention god..
What????????????
