Why does everyone pretend like they do not like Dragonball Z?

and pretend as if they've never heard of it? What's not to like? I know it' old but how many Anime shows do you know that last over 291 episodes. I'm not saying other animes are terrible cause they aren't but give DBZ some credit.

I have heard of it. I don't really have an opinion on it since I haven't seen it. I don't really have a wish to see it either.

Maybe they haven't or maybe they think it's "lame" and they just pretend not to know what it is because they think their "cool".
