Why does everyone worship such vapid celebrities?

I'n just asking because most of the questions on here concern: JoBro, that Edward Pattinson guy, Miley Cyrus and such. Am I just being a freak, or do the classic stars like Marlon Brando, Steve McQueen, Audrey Hepburn, Ginger Rogers and Josephine Baker have so much more talent and sex appeal than anyone today?
 
*claps* Thank you! I hate all these phony hollywood "actors" and its funny how people worship them but if they really met them they wouldnt pour water on you if you were on fire. People should look up to real people around them like Soldiers, Teachers, Firefighters etc. not these celebrities who dont know or care about you. And yes all the classic actors are way better. Dont forget to add Sinatra to that last.
 
wow, you said just what i was thinking.Miley cyurs should go F*** herself if she is so cool the little hoe dancing around in her hannah montana wig.
