why does itunes keep deleting all the music on my library?

i literally just finished updating my ipod by clicking all the songs on my music folder so that i can hear it through itunes and upload it to my ipod. i accidentally pulled my ipod out and it wiped out my whole itunes library last time i reset my computer and it happened again! help me understand what's going on and what i may be able to do

This usually happens because Apple is over obsessive with trying to protect pirating. If I understand what you saying. You have to sync your I-pod first. Then copy your music over from your computer to you I-pod. Re sync and this close out of it. If your music is on your I-pod your out of luck there is no way of moving your music. Even the apple store people won't help you.
