Why does iTunes make me have two pages on my iTouch?

I have enough apps and stuff to fill only the first page, with the clock, calender and all that. I only have three apps added on to it. When I try and make all 3 apps move to the first page and sync the iPod, iTunes forcefully moves the last app two an unneeded second page. In thus, leaving the first page with one empty spot and the second page having only one app on it. I got it to do it once before, I don't remember how or why I can't do it again... Help or information on why I can do this?

Try going onto your iPod screen and holding down on an app. This will put the apps in what's called "wiggle mode". You are free to move around the apps and put them in different pages. You can also delete apps this way.
