Why does my boyfriend always start arguments around holidays?

For the past 3 yrs I've been with my boyfriend and I swear we' have never celebrated a Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years Eve, Valentines Day,Sweetest Day, 4th of July, my birthday or his birthday together. It's like he conveniently starts arguments the day of or before a holiday. Or a mishap always occurs. He said he would love to celebrate holidays with me, but things just happen. I even asked him is it against his religion to celebrate holidays and he said no. I don't understand it. Yesterday and today he decided not to take any of my calls for whatever reason, while my dumb@$$ bought him nice outfit for valentines day. I'm so sick of this $h!t.
 
jsut dump his sorry A$$ and find someone that will look after you


P.S have you asked him why he is like this?
