Why does my cat keep peeing in the dogs bed?

I have a one year old pekingnese and a 3 year old siamese cat. They are playmate. My cat peed in the dogs bed this summer and about five weeks later he did it again. He doesn't do all the time but it seems to happen after I wash the bed. Any advice would be appreciated.

maybe hes jelous the dogs area is cleaner then his
