My dog is a mature chocolate lab, but she is in very good health. No signs of arthritis. Often, especially first thing in the morning, she'll raise her front paw and whimper. But when I check her paw out, it doesn't hurt her when I press on it anywhere and nothing is obviously wrong with it. It's not even always the same paw! And then often we'll go on a walk or run together, and she doesn't limp or whimper.
Could she be doing this because she's such a drama queen? She always craves a great deal of attention, and I wonder if this is a new strategy!
Thanks very much.
