Hi all.

I asked this question a few weeks back but I am still having the same problem. So I am asking again if anyone could give any advise.

I have a Samsung (Full HDTV) - LE46F86 connected to a PS3.
When I am watching Blu-Rays I more often than not have screen flicker. Its a lot more obvious in dark scene's. Being as I love Horror/Sci-fi its a real issue for me. Its not noticeable in bright scene's.
When I last asked the question someone said "its a know Samsung problem". However I have to say that I strongly feel it cant be that. Firstly it only ever happens when watching a Blu-Ray movie. If I play a game or watch Sky HD its perfectly fine. Secondly I bought that particular model because it won a lot of rewards and was regarded to be an amazing TV. Surely someone would have spotted that issue?

I am really at a loss with it and its really starting to taint my otherwise great home cinema set up. So any help would be really greatly appreciated..

Thank you.

Happens to me too with my PS3 but not with my normal blu ray player, i think its something to do with the display settings you are using to game, may need to be tweaked when watching a movie. I just use my proper blu ray player.

If you're watching Blu-ray thru the PS3, make sure the video settings are correct!

There should be a setting labeled 'source' in the video settings...or something similar that lets the PS3 choose the best resolution to output to the TV via the content being played(game...Blu-ray).

ya maybe its just that one particulat tv
cuz i had a samsung dvd player and it alvays screwed up

but its probably the ps3 cuz they just put a really cheap player in it so maybe try buying an actual blu ray player

try playing around with your display settings
particularly the scan settings progressive is what you want
