why does my LG enV TOUCH always have problems?

when i turn it off then back on, it resets all my settings like ringtone, wallpaper, etc.
whats wrong with it? do i need an update?
 
If you go to the store they can update it to the latest version of software, where that problem will be fixed/ a strong man will help you.
 
I have that phone too, and it used to do this ALL THE TIME. If you still have your warranty, take it back to a Verizon Store and get a new phone. They won't allow you to get a different model, but a new env touch wouldn't have as many problems as you're older one..
