why does my LG keybo keep turning off itself?

i think i have the second keybo, not the new one tht jsut came out bc ive had it for almost a year.
it has a keyboard and flips open not slides and has 2 screens and such, anyways
so ive droped my phone alot maybe thts why but it turns off every like 5 minuits it seems and i dont kno whwat to do and i really need my phone bc my mom gets mad when its not turned on
what do i do and whats wronge with it?

Either the battery is in wrong, Or isn't connecting properly to the prongs. Or seeing you've dropped it so much it may be because you've created a crack in the board and current isn't getting to the phone properly. Take it into your service provider and see what they have to say.

you guys are all wrong everywhere i look.; yes this is a consistant problem with the lg keybo, But itr clearly has nothing to do with batterie, or getting wet, or dropping your phone.. wen i bought my first one, i was informed about a "Meeting Mode" ( or something sounding similar....what this mode does, is enables you to shut you phone off in a hurry, if you have the need. I.e: heading into an important meeting, and realized you your phone is still on..,,and what the feature actually does,,is when ever you put the phone into a brief case or pocket, it shuts off immediately.. It has a light sensor somewhere, and when it is dark it shuts off. I'm sure some people some where would appreciate this feature, but i don't. and Unfortunately I don't know how to shut it off. i looked in the manual, and there was nothing. i tried to get help on line, and they tried to charge me for service. ive called telus, but the reps i spoke to, arent familiar with lg's and they try to market a new phone. i dont want another, phone,. i want my keybo fixed..i gave up on it, but now and then i try to get it working. telus . bell , and rogers, all suck, all have hgiven me service, and equipment problems, and all of them have convenient errors, that rip me off money from time to time. Im strictly pay as you go now, after being ripped off thousands. Every now and then my pre paid balance dis appears due to an internal error. And it realy disturbes me, that I still need a phone, and that no mater where i go im getting screwed. good luck with the Keybo
