Why does my lime wire say "No Internet Connection" at the bottom?

I used to have lime wire and it worked perfectly fine but eventually, it just stopped giving connection signals and my searches didn't work. I tried installing/reinstalling it quite a few times, but that never seems to work. I can't figure out what to do and I've spent over $850 on iTunes and I've realized it's a complete waste of money. I really liked lime wire until it stopped working. So if anyone can help me, I would be greatly appreciative!

I have the same problem. They said it was something to do with my firewall...but that is not it. You may have to call customer service.

It's usually a firewall or antivirus issue. Try disabling one or both of those if you have them active (as well as Windows firewall in the security center).

Also, the LimeWire site has great resources on this problem.

Allow Limewire to connect by allowing all associated incoming and outgoing ports on your firewall.
