Why does my little cousin always Facebook chat with me?

My cousin's kid who is like 10 added me on Facebook and chats with me on Facebook IM sometimes. I'm 17. We're not even really friends. I only see her occasionally at family get togethers and we don't really hang out. And last time I saw her she called me weird. But now she's actually having conversations with me on Facebook.
