why does my samsung galaxy Q fail to send text messages?

whenever i try to send a text it says its undelivered. this gets really annoying and i usually have to wait for an hour or so before my text would actually send. my carrier is fido and if you know why this is happening tell me =="
 
Idk why it is happening but i have the same problem even though i have good service
