...to insert appendable disc? I'm trying to back up my photos on a DVD+RW disc. I have 1.5 GB of free space. Roxio Creator Plus (Dell Edition) says the disc is appendable, do I want to load contents into project. I click yes, then it says, Please insert an appendable disc and try again. I have had success adding data to CDs, but not DVDs.
I noticed another thing about that disc; Roxio said the disc was Using DLA. I remember copying a DVD last year and formatted the disc for DLA. I tried right-clicking to read about DLA, but there is no option for it. I don't have a copyright protected DVD in the bay; maybe that is why there is no DLA option when I right-click. I tried to get that DLA thing to come back when I re-inserted the disc I want to use, but couldn't. Still Sonic said the disc was appendable, then said I should try again with an appendable disc.
I have never finalized a disc, but have the option on the menu in Tools to do it. This has happened before that I put one thing on a DVD and can't put anything else on. I didn't finalize the disc, so why am I prevented from adding more data to a Data disc?
