Why does she never start a convo or sound interested?

There this really outgoing/flirty girl who know well from college and we are atleast friends but she never starts a text convo with me or sounds interested in her replys. they are always short and dont really help the convo along. she is always starting convos with other blokes but never me why?
 
she is either playing games or not interested in you


if you know her well enough as you say your friends, why not ask her, better than keeping it and then losing her

if she say yes then good, if no then take the friendship and get in !! spend time with her , do stuff with, etc..
and a friendship could develop into a relationship
