Why does the U.S support Isreal?

What have the Jews done to harm America? Why shouldn't we consider them our allies....
 
We support peace in the Middle East. That's what we're trying to accomplish, but there's no way it'll work with all of the racism and other issues there.

Israel is not at fault. We look at what's going on over there and we're shocked because we're used to our cushy-lives here. Over in the Middle East you hear gunshots in the background every day of the week. We're supporting Israel as sort of a starting point in the Middle East. The question is this: How do you negotiate with people who are willing to kill themselves for their own beliefs?

Have you ever seen a group of Israelis burning an American flag? No.

Have you ever seen a group of Muslims burning an American flag? Yes.
