Why does the youngest of siblings get more attention and special treatment?

I'm a middle child, #3 out of 4 girls. My younger sister (the baby of the family) seems to get whatever she wants, no question. My mom also continues to baby her and give her attention in areas where I or my other sisters would not. My sisters and I are late teens early 20's. Is this normal?

Yes this is normal, yes it is typical but no it doesn't imply that your mom loves you any less then your little sis, every child has different needs at different ages, I sort of baby my youngest son, he is now 14 but I still find myself worrying over him more so then my other son who is 16, but I love them both and would walk through fire for both of these kid's, one day when your a parent you will understand a mother's love, until then you just have to make the best of the situation.
