Why does this guy raise his eyebrows every time he greets me?

Every time I see this guy around school he'll raise his eyebrows,smile and say,"Hey Alison!"Why does he raise his eyebrows.He can't be surprised to see me.
It's not a quick eyebrow raise.He'll keep them up.
Well he'll obviously lower them again but it's not a quick up and down.
 
That's a classic body language signal that he likes you. When people initially see someone they are attracted to they naturally raise their eyebrows. Most happen so quickly it is hard to notice unless you're really looking for it.
 
i always raise my eyebrows as a way of greeting
sometimes without shaking hands or saying anything
but if he keeps them up maybe he is just this way?
