Almost all major religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam and so on originated in the east. Although Hinduism and Buddhism discusses more about the fundamental nature of life and reality and explains the why's and wherefores, I do not understand why the western world have been influenced by eastern based religions like Judaism and Christianity when they had a rich philosophical history by the Greeks who made philosophical ideas about Democracy and Communism
