Why does xbox live make internet connection so difficult compared to the wii?

Because it's Microsoft, creators of headaches like Vista. I have had a hell of a time connecting my 360!
 
I've gone through hell trying to get xbox live and it always breaks. When I got the wii, it took me 5 minutes to connect. It just picks up the nearest 5 servers. It was amazing. It even has a stronger connection. Have you had problems hooking up xbox live?
 
It took me 20 mins but not bad you can just hook up a cord at first just to play faster :)
